El motivo de la visita fue tomar contacto con autoridades locales y difundir las principales líneas de acción del organismo, entre ellos los proyectos de instalación de Plantas de Gas Licuado de Petróleo (GLP) en localidades del departamento, la instalación del Parque Fotovoltaico en la ciudad de San Cristóbal, las últimas novedades en relación con el Gasoducto del Noreste Argentino (NEA) que traería gas a Ceres y detalles de la denominada Línea Verde, a través de la cual el gobierno provincial fomenta la utilización de fuentes de energías renovables a través de créditos del Nuevo Banco de Santa Fe.
